We're sharpening instruction, expanding interventions, and using data to guide district-wide progress. Here's a quick look:
Data Systems & Instructional Alignment
Mid-year reviews focused on standards and prerequisite skills.
Math and ELA deep dives used NJSLA evidence to target learning gaps.
Data teams are working under new protocols tied to our recent audit.
Planning meetings emphasized benchmarks, NJSLA prep, and cross-grade collaboration.
Intervention Program Expansion
New schedules are being built to increase intervention time across all schools.
SHS and SMS refined course offerings to improve support pathways.
Pedagogical Support & Professional Learning
Teachers reviewed NJSLA items and best practices for standards-based instruction.
Teams collaborated on iReady pacing and small-group math strategies.
A Literacy Leader Team is now in place to align K–12 reading instruction.
Multilingual Learner (ML) Program Development
90 teachers completed SEI training focused on ML student data and instruction.
Admin teams trained on interrater reliability to improve ML classroom support.
📈 School Performance Reports Now Available
The 2023–2024 New Jersey School Performance Reports have been released and provide valuable insights into each school’s academic and demographic data.
