Exciting News: Our District Wins AI Innovation Grant!

We’re thrilled to announce that our high school has been awarded the AI Innovation in Education Grant, making us one of just 10 schools in the state to receive this honor and one of 12 districts to secure an AI grant. This incredible opportunity puts our students and staff at the forefront of innovation, preparing them for a future where AI plays a central role in learning and beyond.

Here’s what the grant will bring to our district:
Mini-Grants for Teacher Innovation: Supporting educators as they explore creative and impactful uses of AI in their classrooms.
Targeted Professional Development: Helping our teachers build confidence and expertise in AI tools and strategies.
Hands-On Student Experiences: Including lessons on AI ethics and safe and practical uses.
Student Leadership Opportunities: Developing AI Ambassadors who will help peers and younger students learn about AI tools and their potential.

This grant will give us the resources to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration while ensuring all students—regardless of their background—benefit from the power of AI.
